'Menopause the Musical' to play the Lied Oct. 13

“Menopause the Musical” will bring hot flashes, hilarity and classic hits from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s to the Lied Center for Performing Arts, at 3 p.m. Oct. 13.

The musical parody features four women shopping for lingerie at Bloomingdale’s singing 25 songs about chocolate cravings, hot flashes, loss of memory, nocturnal sweats and sexual predicaments. Lyrics parody popular music from the Baby Boomer era. The production was written by Jeanie Linders.

Tickets, starting at $45, are available at http://www.liedcenter.org, at the Lied Center box office, or by phone at 402-472-4747.

The performance is a rental event. For hosted rental events, the Lied Center has limited control over ticket prices/discounts, cancellation and refund policy, event related activities, content and recording/reproduction.
