The Nebraska Alumni Association has announced the selection of eight talented and accomplished individuals to the Council of Alumni Ambassadors.
The Council of Alumni Ambassadors represents all nine colleges and a wide range of class years, geographic communities and professions. Members serve three-year terms, meeting semi-annually on campus to be briefed on issues facing the university, to experience firsthand the programs of campus and the alumni association and to lend their input from an alumni perspective.
“The council helps the alumni association foster meaningful connections between Huskers past, present and future,” said Shelley Zaborowski, executive director of the Nebraska Alumni Association. “The group is an advocacy arm for the university and helps us champion alumni interests and strengthen the Nebraska tradition.”
