For the 12th time, a contingent of University of Nebraska–Lincoln students will help provide hospitality services at Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters Tournament.
The group left April 2 to begin training for the 2026 tournament in Augusta, Georgia. The students will serve in a variety of roles for tournament operations. The contingent will return April 14.
“We are incredibly proud to be among the select few hospitality programs in the United States granted this remarkable privilege,” said Ajai Ammachathram, associate professor and director of the Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management program. “Working at the Masters Tournament has been a game‑changing experience for many of our students, an extraordinary opportunity to learn, grow and forge industry connections on one of the world’s most iconic stages.”
About 2,000 hospitality professionals are needed to provide service to participants, members and patrons of the golf club during the tournament’s April 9-12 run.
