Registration is now open for two Inclusive Leadership Retreats, events meant to help students become more inclusive leaders, promote confidence in facilitating conversations about inclusion and diversity, and build connections with student, staff, and faculty leaders on campus. The retreats are open to all undergraduate students.
The retreats will use small group activities and interactive discussions to prepare students for university leadership positions, including peer mentors and consultants, Registered Student Organization positions, New Student Enrollment orientation leaders, resident assistants, and college and research ambassadors.
Size is limited to 150 participants per retreat, with lunch is provided for all who attend. The retreats are held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5 or from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Both retreats will be held in the Red Cloud Room of the Cather Dining Complex.
