Digital accessibility workshops offered by Center for Transformative Teaching

The Center for Transformative Teaching will host a series of digital accessibility workshops designed to build practical skills and an in-depth understanding of accessibility best practices this semester. The series includes tutorial workshops and practice sessions, offering participants hands-on learning opportunities to make their digital course content more inclusive and accessible.

All workshops will take place from 1:30-3 p.m. on Zoom. 

  • Jan. 29: Introduction to Accessibility Workshop
  • Feb. 5: Microsoft Word Accessibility Workshop
  • Feb. 12: Microsoft Word Practice Session
  • Feb. 19: Canvas Accessibility Workshop
  • Feb. 26: Canvas Practice Session
  • March 5: PowerPoint Accessibility Workshop
  • March 12: PowerPoint Practice Session
  • March 26: Audio & Video Accessibility Workshop
  • April 2: Audio & Video Practice Session
  • April 9: PDF Accessibility Workshop
  • April 16: PDF Practice Session
  • April 23: Universal Design for Learning Workshop

All sessions will be hands-on and participants should bring a laptop. For sessions on a specific program, participants should have the desktop application of the program installed, such as the desktop Microsoft Word application.
