A new social hour, Popcorn Pop-Up, will debut from 3 to 4 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Nebraska Union Crib. The pop-up is free and open to all faculty, staff and students. It will repeat every Thursday.
During the single hour each week, attendees can snack on fresh-popped popcorn and join a game or activity planned for the day. The activity will be different each week, to be chosen by the organization or department being showcased that day.
The Popcorn Pop-Up events are a chance for hundreds of people to mingle with friends and colleagues in the spirit of being a Husker.
The first 100 people to attend each week will receive a special Popcorn Pop-Up Cup. Bringing the cup to subsequent events will allow attendees to receive a free drink with their popcorn.
