Jillian Stewart, assistant custodial services manager for the Lied Center for Performing Arts, disinfects seats after classes finished on Sept. 23. The Lied — which is among the first performing arts venues to reopen after national shutdowns in the spring — is using a multi-layered approach to protect against the spread of COVID-19. It is also hosting university classes in the day and performances in the evening.

To help keep the campus community safe, facial coverings are to be worn jat all times indoors and when six-foot distancing cannot be maintained outdoors. Mask use and capacity limitations should be observed at all times in study spaces — including those in University Libraries and Nebraska Unions.
