A retirement reception for Ruth Ulmer, an accountant in the Animal Science Department, is 2 to 4 p.m., Jan. 22 in the Animal Science Student Commons.

A brief program begins at 2:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Ulmer has worked at UNL for more than 43 years, starting her career with the accounting department in 1970. She moved to agricultural communications (now Ed Media) in 1981, then to animal science in 1988.
