Experienced runners, a police officer and a self-defense instructor will teach valuable tips and skills at a free “Safety for Runners” event at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18 in Mabel Lee Hall’s north gym.
All runners, cyclists and interested individuals can prepare and improve their knowledge of navigating the dark streets and trails during fall and winter’s shortened daylight hours.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Lincoln Running Company, UNL Campus Rec, Nathan Sports, and Spine and Sport Chiropractic are event sponsors.
