Student Involvement’s 10th annual Chili Cook-Off is 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in the East Union. Proceeds from the event will benefit Lincoln’s Matt Talbot Community Kitchen and Outreach Center.

Individuals who wish to compete in the event must register by Nov. 8 online at http://involved-apps.unl.edu/a/chili/.

Categories are red, white and vegetarian chili. First and second place awards will be presented in each category. A people’s choice award winner will also be named.

Admission is $5 or five cans of food for individuals, or $10 or 10 cans of food for families. In addition to chili, the event will include cinnamon rolls, door prizes and a showing of a classic Husker football championship game.
