Japan Night 2016 is 6 to 10 p.m. April 8 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. This event celebrates the cultures and beauty of all nine regions of Japan and to teach students and community members about Japan and its diversity.

The event will feature different stations representing each region of Japan detailing their rich cultures, how they differ from one another and the stereotypical image of Japan projected in the media today. Passports will be given out to participants to collect stamps at each station, which will make participants eligible to win prizes.

Japanese food and games will be offered at the event.

Tickets are $10 in advance for UNL students, and $15 for public or at the door. To buy tickets in advance, click here.
