Holley-Wilcox retirement reception is Dec. 10

Pamela Holley-Wilcox

Pamela Holley-Wilcox will be honored at a reception recognizing her retirement from UNL from 3-5 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Van Brunt Visitors Center. Holley-Wilcox has served UNL as a director of Information Technology Services for more than 20 years.

During her time at UNL, Holley-Wilcox led implementations of learning management systems, technology enhancements in classrooms, application development and customer service tracking. She also worked closely with the Student Technology Fee Committee and the Faculty Senate Information Technology and Services Committee.

“Pam is an active advocate for students and faculty,” said Mark Askren, chief information officer. “She is a thought leader, people-connector and a vocal guide demonstrating how information technology can best serve the mission of the university. We will miss her forthright leadership and her insight.”

Prior to joining UNL, Holley-Wilcox held computing management positions with George Mason University and the University of Virginia. Holley-Wilcox is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of California Lutheran College, earning her doctorate in Human Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin.

The retirement reception is free and open to the public.
