Fit at Work offers ‘Summer Steps’ sessions

Campus Recreation’s Fit at Work program continues with a “Summer Steps” 1.5-mile walk and full-body exercise program, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 18 and 19.

The free program, which is designed to help individuals increase activity during the work and/or school day, is open to all faculty, staff and students. The walk should take 20 to 30 minutes. No workout clothes are necessary. Participants should wear good walking shoes.

East Campus routes, starting at the Perin Porch by Agriculture Hall are featured June 18. City Campus routes, starting at the Campus Rec Center, are scheduled for June 19.

The event is organized by the UNL Wellness Initiative.
