This fall, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's student veteran population will have a home base to support them with all aspects of university life.

A retirement reception for biological systems engineering faculty members Dean Eisenhauer and David Shelton is 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. June 26 in the East Union’s Arbor Suite.

The reception is free and open to faculty, staff and students.

In his nearly 40-year career, Eisenhauer, professor of biological systems engineering, has focused on education and applied research in agricultural hydrology and irrigation.

Shelton, professor of biological systems engineering and a University of Nebraska Extension agricultural engineer with the Northeast Research and Extension Center, joined UNL in 1976. His career has included research and extension programs in environment-related engineering topics and municipal storm water management.
