A retirement reception for Theresa Dolezal, customer service representative in the Office of Admissions, is from 2 to 4 p.m. June 9 at the Van Brunt Visitors Center.

Dolezal will retire in June after 20 years at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She began her career at UNL in 1996 and through the years enjoyed helping thousands of students, staff and the public at the admissions front desk. Dolezal also developed training procedures and resources, and statistical reports to improve customer service.

She was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in December and is retiring to focus on her health and to spend fellowship and fun times with friends and family.

The retirement reception is free and open to the public.
