A retirement reception for Greg Clayton, director of benefits and risk management with Human Resources, is 3 to 5 p.m. May 18 at the Van Brunt Visitors Center. The event is free and open to the campus community.

Clayton has provided UNL with nearly 37 years of insurance and risk management expertise and customer service. He has also been recognized nationally for his professional contributions. Those honors include the Midwestern Higher Education Compact’s Outstanding Service Award, which was presented in November during the commission’s annual meeting in Chicago. The award recognized Clayton for providing exemplary leadership, committing to the compact’s principles, securing participation in the compact’s programs and services, and increasing visibility for the organization.
