Saturday is game day in Nebraska as the Cornhuskers open the 2014 football season against the Owls of Florida Atlantic University.
The season opener will include the reveal of a $12.3 million Fan Experience Improvement project to Memorial Stadium. The work included replacing the stadium sound system, upgrading the wireless network, creating a game-day smartphone application, and the installation of an Internet protocol television system.
