‘Week Without Violence’ is focus of brown bag disscussion

Courtnery Hillebrecht will lead discussion, “Week Without Violence,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Nebraska Union.

Hillebrecht ia s Samuel Clark Waugh Professor of International Relations, director of the Forsythe Family Program on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, faculty coordinator of the William H. Thompson Learning Community and associate professor of Political Science.

As part of their mission to promote the exploration of ethics and critical thinking, Ethics Across the Disciplines hosts a Brown Bag Luncheon series. These monthly lunches provide an interdisciplinary forum for university faculty, students and staff to discuss ethical issues and projects that arise or are under way throughout the academic community.

Participants can also bring their own lunch or just show up for the conversation.
