Visiting artist talks feature painter Sarah McEneaney

Painter Sarah McEneaney will deliver the next talk in the Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lecture series at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 in Richards Hall, Room 15.

McEneaney’s paintings, drawings and prints are in many public collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Rhode Island School of Design, Johnson and Johnson and Microsoft Corporation.

She works as both an artist and community activist in Philadelphia. She works primarily in egg tempera and her paintings are characterized by their autobiographical content, detailed brushwork and brilliant color.

Remaining lectures in the series will feature Trevor Armery, Patricia Johnston and Robert Storr. A full schedule is available online. Each talk is 5:30 p.m. in Richards Hall, Room 15.
