Virtual search process seminar for NU faculty, staff and grad students May 31

UNL Plaza
The search process is required for all NU faculty, staff and grad students, but also open all members on the university search committees.

A virtual seminar for Huskers who may serve on a search committee is scheduled for 2 to 3 p.m. May 31.

The training is required for all faculty, staff and graduate students who plan to participate on a search committee. Undergraduate students and community members serving on university search committees are also encouraged to complete the educational seminar.

The seminar covers the most common issues that arise during the search process. It also provides an overview of the process, including legal issues and university policies and procedures.

Individuals who complete the training receive a two-year certificate to serve on campus search committees.

The seminars are offered regularly on campus. Learn more about the summer schedule.
