Undergrad art exhibition open through Feb. 15

The art of 47 Huskers is on display in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s “32nd Annual Juried Undergraduate Exhibition.”

Open through Feb. 15 in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall, the exhibition includes 76 works of art from undergraduates in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts’ School of Art, Art History and Design.

A closing reception is 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 15 in the gallery. Awards will be announced at 6 p.m. Honors to be presented include: Dean’s Purchase, Director’s Purchase, Faulkner Freshman Award, Faulkner Sophomore Award, Faulkner Memorial Awards and Entry Fee Awards.

Jurors for the exhibition are Nancy Friedemann-Sánchez and Charley Friedman, both artists, educators and owner/operators of Fiendish Plots. Learn more about the jurors and their artist-run initiative and exhibition space.

The Eisentrager•Howard Gallery is located on the first floor of Richards Hall. Gallery hours are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
