Town hall meetings to discuss wireless access across NU system

The future of the university’s wireless internet access will be discussed during four town hall meetings June 22 on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus.

Topics will include the current state of the wireless system across the University of Nebraska system, high level objectives for wireless, the eduroam system and how it will be implemented and used, on boarding and why it’s needed, how guest users can connect with internet of things, challenges and timelines. A question-and-answer session will be included.

The town halls at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are part of a series of meetings being held across the University of Nebraska system.

The June 22 meetings will be 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Avery Hall, Room 19, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. For more information, contact Information Technology Services at 402-554-2800 or its@nebraska.edu.
