Thousands of University of Nebraska–Lincoln students will move into campus residence halls Aug. 13-16.

Most students will arrive Aug. 14-16. Students and their families will check in at the north entrance of the Bob Devaney Sports Center during an allotted time. Belongings will be loaded into trucks at Devaney and taken to the student’s residence for curbside unloading.

During this time, faculty, staff, visitors and Lincoln residents should be aware of minor traffic delays in the City Campus vicinity due to lane closures and congestion from traffic, especially around the Devaney. Currently, Antelope Valley Parkway is under construction, and some areas of the roadway are closed or reduced to one lane. Additionally, both 16th and 17th streets are part of the designated routes for move-in and there will be increased traffic each day.

The following is a schedule of move-in days:

Aug. 14:

  • Schramm
  • University Suites
  • Harper
  • Abel North

Aug. 15:

  • Smith
  • Eastside Suites
  • Knoll Residential Center
  • Abel South
  • Love Memorial

Aug. 16:

  • Village
  • Courtyards
  • Sandoz
  • Kauffman
  • Massengale

More information, including maps for traffic flows, can be found on the University Housing move-in website.
