The deadline for submitting applications to the Convocations Committee to obtain funding for guest speakers during the spring 2017 semester is Nov. 1.
Convocations Committee grants are generally $150 to $750. Money is limited and the process is competitive.
If there is a high number of requests, only one application from a department will be accepted. The speaker request form and guidelines are available on the Faculty Senate website.
