Justine Shuey, a board-certified sexologist and sexuality educator, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

Shuey travels to colleges, medical schools, hospitals, conferences and other events throughout the United States and Canada to give presentations on topics such as safer sex, sexual health and wellness, consent, communication, LGBTQ issues, and pleasure. Attendees are likely to appreciate her light-hearted, interactive style — an honest, no-holds-barred approach that is respectful of individual differences and the culture of the hosting organization. Shuey holds a master’s degree in human sexuality education and doctoral degree in human sexuality, both from Widener University.

The event, sponsored by UPC Nebraska and Campus Nightlife, is free for students with a valid NCard and $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
