The Scarlet Hotel on Nebraska Innovation Campus is issuing a final call to nominate Nebraskans for its name-a-room promotion.

The project is intended to honor untold stories and the diversity of individuals from across the Cornhusker State. Nominees do not need to be famous Nebraskans or have direct ties to the university. They must have lived in Nebraska for at least one year; can be living or deceased, but must have reached at least 21 years of age; and have a personal connection with the nominator.

Submissions can be made via The Scarlet Hotel website.

A review committee will vet submissions and make final selections. The winning nominee or their family will receive a complimentary two-night stay at the campus hotel.

The Scarlet, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property, broke ground on Aug. 18. It is scheduled to open in July 2021.
