Safer Community app update necessary by Oct. 7

The Safer Community app is part of the university's COVID-19 testing strategy. Its use is required to enter campus buildings during the fall semester.

Students, faculty and staff are being asked to update the Safer Community app by Oct. 7.

The app must be updated on smartphones to version 2.12.48 (or newer). Any version of the app older than v2.12.48 will cease to work on Oct. 8.

The Safer Community app is offered as part of the university’s COVID-19 testing strategy and its use is required to enter campus buildings during the fall 2021 semester.
