Charlie Stoltenow (right), dean and director of Nebraska Extension, appeared live on RFD-TV on Dec. 6 to discuss a new strategic direction for Extension.

Charlie Stoltenow discussed Nebraska Extension’s new “Big Three” strategic direction during a live RFD-TV interview on Dec. 6.

The three key components of the strategic plan are: Strengthen Nebraska agriculture and food systems; inspire Nebraskans and their communities; and enhance the health and wellbeing of all Nebraskans. Learn more about Nebraska Extension’s strategic direction in the video above and online.

The RFD-TV interviews are an opportunity for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln community to showcase work that is impacting rural America.

The network covers stories and issues specific to rural America, including rural lifestyle, ag production, weather, rural healthcare, and research that impacts farms and communities. The interviews, which are simulcast on Rural Radio (Sirius XM Channel 147), are organized through University Communication and Marketing and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
