Teens can embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, skill-building, and preparation for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead through Big Red Summer Camps.

Nebraska 4-H facilitates multiple Big Red Summer Camps at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and registration is now open. The week-long experience is created to give young people a better understanding of college life and future careers of interest. Organizers aim to create an experiential learning opportunity for all program participants.

The comprehensive program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in postsecondary education and beyond. Participants work alongside faculty and staff as well as business and industry professionals. Incoming high school freshmen through seniors in the fall of 2024 are welcome.
