Campers discuss their strategy in front of the rock climbing wall as others take on the climbing the wall.

Campus Recreation offers a recreational day camp, Husker Kids, for children entering first to sixth grades.

The camp includes fun recreational, sport and lifetime activities throughout nine weekly sessions. The goal is to provide a supportive and enjoyable environment where learning and fun go hand in hand. Specific sport instruction is not a goal of the camp.

Registration opened Feb. 1 and space remains available.

The camp opens at 7:45 a.m. each day and closes at 5:15 p.m. to allow campus members to maintain a full work day.

For questions, contact Brian Stelzer, camp director, at bstelzer@unl.edu or 402-472-8869. Information is also available by contacting the camp office at 402-472-8383, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays.
