Printmaker Lynne Avadenka will present the final 2018 Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist and Scholar Lecture at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 14 in Richards Hall, Room 15. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Avadenka, who received a Master of Fine Arts from Wayne State University, creates multimedia work informed by explorations of text, image and the Jewish experience. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally at Israel Museum in Jerusalem; Hague in the Netherlands; and British Library in London. Her creations are also featured in the Library of Congress, New York Public Library, and Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
