Pixar writer gives lecture Feb. 8

Matthew Luhn, a writer with more than 25 years of experience creating stories and characters at Pixar Animation Studios, will deliver a talk as part of the Baylor Evnen Build Your Character Program on Communications, 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. Feb. 8 at the College of Law.

Luhn will explain how to develop stories and write to create compelling stories that move audiences to action.

Alongside his work at Pixar, Luhn also trains chief executive officers, marketing teams, directors and other professionals how to craft and tell stories. His career began when, at the age of 19, he became the youngest animator to work on the “The Simpsons” television series.

Luhn’s story credits include “Toy Story,” “Toy Story 2,” “Monsters Inc.,” “Finding Nemo,” “Cars,” “Ratatouille,” “Up,” “Toy Story 3” and “Monsters University.” He also has many other films and television shows currently in development.
