The Chiara String Quartet will kick off the spring 2017 Notes@Noon concert series Jan. 18 in the Adele Hall Learning Commons. The musicians are the Hixson-Lied Artists-in-Residence in the Glenn Korff School of Music.

The Moran Woodwind Quintet – the Korff School’s resident faculty woodwind quintet – will perform Feb. 15.

Other Notes@Noon performances will include student a cappella groups, instrumentalists, student chamber ensembles and jazz combos. The concerts are during the noon hour every other Wednesday through April 12 in the northwest quadrant of the learning commons. People can gather to listen to the music and bring their lunch. The concert series is free and open to the public.
