NET resumes gavel-to-gavel Legislative coverage July 20

University of Nebraska students, supporters and alumni talk to state senators in the Rotunda Gallery during "I Love NU" Advocacy Day 2019 at the Nebraska State Capitol.

NET, Nebraska’s PBS and NPR Stations, will resume gavel-to-gavel television coverage of the Nebraska Legislature when it reconvenes on July 20. The legislature suspended the session March 16 due to concerns about the coronavirus.

With 17 days remaining in the session, it is scheduled to conclude on Aug. 13. NET’s multi-platform coverage includes live broadcasts on the NET World channel every day the legislature is in session and highlights of daily activity during radio’s NPR news programs “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered.”

Live streaming and on-demand video are available online and on the NET Nebraska mobile app.
