Nebraska probation administrators to speak April 8

Nebraska Union

Two Nebraska probation administrators, Deborah Minardi and Jeanne Brandner, will speak from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. April 8 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Minardi and Brandner’s talk is part of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice’s State of the Agency Lecture Series.

Deborah Minardi was named State Probation Administrator in January 2019. As State Probation Administrator, Minardi directs the statewide delivery of Probation services in Nebraska. She has worked within the Nebraska Probation System for 35 years, and in 2015 was awarded the University of Nebraska School of Criminology Lifetime Achievement Award.

Since 2014, Jeanne Brandner has worked as a Deputy Probation Administrator of the Juvenile Services Division in the Office of Probation Administration. Her expertise and experience in the juvenile justice field in Arizona and on a national level have been invaluable to Probation’s implementation of LB 561 and LB 464.

A reception will follow the lecture. For more information, visit the Criminology and Criminal Justice website.
