Microsoft GM to discuss technology for sustainability, accessibility

Shelley McKinley, general manager of Microsoft’s Technology and Corporate Responsibility Group, will discuss the company’s work to build a better future in sustainability and accessibility at 3 p.m. March 28 in the Kauffman Academic Residential Center’s Great Hall.

McKinley will discuss how the company works to strategically connect people so everyone can access the opportunities that technology provides. She will talk about how technology, such as artificial intelligence, can be used to help people with disabilities, benefit the environment and prepare the workforce for the future.

The presentation is organized by the University of Nebraska’s Rural Futures Institute.
