MHDI to host Norwood for visiting speaker series

Carolette Norwood will present “The Politic of Spatial Confinement: Jim Crow Geographies, Sexual and Reproductive Health Disparities and Housing Insecurity from the Progressive Era to the 21st Century” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 14 via Zoom.

The lecture is part of the Minority Health Disparities Initiative’s visiting speaker series.

Norwood is an associate professor and the assistant department head in women’s, gender and sexuality studies at the University of Cincinnati. She directs the social justice certificate and leads a Reproductive Justice-funded study for the Ohio Policy Evaluation Network.
