Libraries procedures outlined for course reserves, spring 2021

SNR is participating in a UNL Libraries pilot program that offers a new option of document delivery.

To prepare for continued remote teaching and COVID-19 guidelines put into place by the university, the University Libraries will continue providing course reserves services in support of online and remote teaching and learning for the fall and spring three-week sessions and spring semester.

The libraries continues to recommend electronic materials when possible, including journal articles, book chapter scans and streaming video in place of print formats. The goal of the reserves program is to ensure all students have online access to course materials through Canvas.

Print reserves will be available in limited quantity at libraries locations, following CDC-approved quarantine and sanitation guidelines to ensure safety.

• All teaching faculty and staff can submit requests for Course Reserves materials • The libraries can provide appropriate assistance in locating, processing and uploading materials to Canvas

They recommend requesting materials at your earliest convenience, as requests will be processed in the order they are received.

Course reserves will continue to be provided electronically in manners respectful to Fair Use rights and all current copyright holders and law.

For additional information regarding course reserves requests and help with Canvas, send emails to LibrariesReserves@unl.edu or visit the Libraries Reserves homepage.
