Libraries offering informational sessions on open access agreements

Join us for this series of workshops that will help you organize your data and research citations.
Learn more about the open access publishing agreements that can be of benefit to Nebraska faculty, graduate students and authors.

The University Libraries support open access publishing through participation in agreements with several scholarly publishers (Wiley, Institute of Physics, the Microbiology Society and more), which enables Nebraska authors to publish their articles open access in selected journals at no cost to themselves.

The libraries are offering two sessions to learn more about the opportunity to have article processing charges paid for in select open access journals. The in-person session is 11 a.m. March 28 in Love Library South, Room 224 (Witt Room). The remote session will be at 3 p.m. March 29 via Zoom. No registration is necessary.

The sessions will be led by Sue Gardner, scholarly communications librarian. She will give a brief presentation, then open the session up to questions.
