A “Level 4” risk message issued March 27 via email from the Concur travel application is not a reference to ongoing operations at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The alert is auto generated in response to travel restrictions made by the U.S. Department of State and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All federal travel advisories are integrated into the Concur system as a way to protect students, faculty and staff who make travel requests.

Currently, federal authorities have issued a Level 4 (do not travel) advisory for the entire nation due to the spread of COVID-19. As it does with all federal advisories, the university is observing this designation for travel requests. Learn more about travel requests here.
