Outdoor enthusiast, Stacy Bare will come to speak on adventure and all that entails at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Nebraska Union.

Born in Lincoln, Bare is a husband, father, skier, rafter and climber. His lecture “Stacy Bare: Wild Spaces. A Journey Out to Come Home,” will touch on personal stories of his own adventures, deep dives on leadership, how to overcome trauma, the power of the outdoors to support a healthy life and both the success and failure in making your dreams come true.

The event, sponsored by Campus Recreation Outdoor Adventures, Military and Veteran Success Center and Steinhart Foundation, is free and open to the public.
