Fresh off hosting its first-ever bonspiel tourney in Lincoln, the Husker Curling Club is offering a Learn to Curl event at the Breslow Ice Hockey Center.

The event will be 6 to 8:15 p.m. Feb. 18. Space is limited to 32 participants. Cost is $5 for students and $20 for all others.

Members of the nationally-ranked team will be instructing attendees on basic form, techniques and strategy of the game. They will also answer questions about the sport and supervise a mini-game to simulate a true curlers experience.
