Information Technology Services has published a list of frequently asked questions on a variety of topics to aid the transition to remote working.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has announced that all workers able to do so are required to work from home, beginning March 23, in response to the spread of COVID-19.

To aid in this transition, Information Technology Services at the University of Nebraska has published a resource page, Remote Work FAQs, and a link to this information has been added to the campus COVID-19 response website, under the Employees tab.

The FAQs cover topics including computers and equipment; connecting to the university’s virtual private network to access university computer systems remotely; forwarding phone calls and checking voicemail; IT support options; and using digital tools remotely.

Staff and faculty who need additional IT support are encouraged to continue to request support by sending email to mysupport@unl.edu.
