Husker Dialogues at Lied Center

Chancellor Ronnie Green is inviting first-year students to Husker Dialogues today at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Husker Dialogues is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln event for first-year students designed to sponsor conversation about promoting inclusion, respect, understanding and freedom of expression for all perspectives and identities in the Husker community.

First-year students may attend the 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. program and are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to ensure adequate time for seating. Each session will last about 90 minutes.

A list of attendees will be given to college deans’ offices, so students should bring NCards/NUIDs so that the Husker Dialogues team can take note of their participation. If first-year students have class during these sessions, they may send an email to huskerdialogues@unl.edu with their name, NUID and the course name and they will be excused from the event. In a similar manner if a student has a job during these sessions, they may please send their name, NUID and their supervisor’s name and contact information.
