How to support the Husker pantry this fall
The Husker Pantry continues to stay busy helping Nebraska students. With need greater than ever before due to the pandemic, more and more students depend upon the Husker Pantry each week.
Although pick-up processes have moved to a contactless model for students to receive food, hygiene items and school supplies, can still be donated in the same ways as before.
There are three primary ways to support Husker students in need:
Purchase items off of the pantry’s Amazon wish list. The wish list is kept up-to-date with our most needed items, and everything ships directly to the pantry.
Donate monetarily to help purchase in-demand items. You can donate via credit or debit card through the University of Nebraska Foundation. You can also mail a check to: Husker Pantry, c/o Megan Patel, 127C HCCN (University Health Center), Lincoln, NE 68588-0628
Find one of the donation bins around campus. You can drop off nonperishable food items, hygiene items and school supplies into the bins. Husker Pantry volunteers will collect the items every other week.
More details can be found on the Husker Pantry website.
