Mueller Planetarium at the University of Nebraska State Museum at Morrill Hall, 645 N. 14th St., will host a special day of five different fulldome shows May 26.

Visitors can relive the excitement of the early days of space exploration; understand the story of light, sight and vision; and explore the exoplanet 51 Pegasi. Children 4 and older can see the story of Little Star, an average yellow star in search of planets of his own to protect and warm in “The Little Star That Could.”

May 26 showtimes:

• 11 a.m.: “The Little Star That Could”

• Noon: “A Planet for Goldilocks”

• 1 p.m.: “Seeing”

• 2 p.m.: “Touching the Universe” and “Shining Light on the Stars”

• 3 p.m.: “Dawn of the Space Age”

Admission is $4 per show for an adult, $3 per show for a child, plus museum admission. Museum members pay $3 per show for an adult and $2 per show for a child, with ID card. Tickets will be sold at the front desk of Morrill Hall the day of the Fulldome Festival. Children 3 and under are not permitted in the planetarium.
