Feedback sought on draft vision for university
The campus community can provide feedback about the document during open meetings Oct. 17-19. Those meetings include general sessions at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the Nebraska Union Heritage Room and Oct. 18 at the Lied Center’s Lied Commons. The open meeting schedule is listed below.
Commission co-chairs Donde Plowman, executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer, and Will Thomas, professor of history, discuss the proposed vision and mission in the video above. The full draft working report is available on the N|150 website.
Nebraska’s Commission of 150 is charged with developing a plan for the future as the university prepares to celebrate its achievements of the last 150 years. The commission is expected to finalize its work by mid-November, with a final report to be released during Chancellor Ronnie Green's State of the University address in January.
