The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has issued a call for faculty and staff willing to volunteer with the April 20 COVID-19 vaccination clinic to be held on campus.

The clinic — open to all students, faculty and staff not yet vaccinated — will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Coliseum. A variety of roles are needed to be filled — from assisting outdoors with traffic to those who may be certified to give inoculations. Employees will be granted administrative leave to assist with the clinic.

Volunteers are needed to fill several shifts through the day. Prior vaccination is not needed to participate and volunteers can be vaccinated if desired.

All Huskers interested in volunteering should contact Julie Kroese via email to julie.kroese@unl.edu for more information.

Specific details about the clinics, volunteer expectations and access to a short training video will be provided.
