Exhibit showcases work of senior art students

The work of graduating seniors in the Department or Art and Art History is featured in the “Capstone Exhibition,” opening Dec. 13 in Richards Hall’s Eisentrager•Howard Gallery.

The exhibit is open through Dec. 20. A closing reception is 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 20 in the gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.

The “Capstone Exhibition” showcases the most recent work of 22 students: Keegan Baker, Eric Brouillette, Erin Butcher, Gabrielle Comte, Karoline Dassie, Brianna Dunbar, Jennifer Evans, Charity Green, Bethany Jauken, Kelsey Ketcham, Briana Kosmicki, Ruben Mejia, Ashley Moore, Rachel Moore, Jane Plagmann, Enoch Pugh, Kyla Rank, Alexander Russell, Megan Scheffler, Rachel Svoboda, Vantha Tep and Lucas Votipka.

Participation in the exhibition is part of the Achievement-Centered Education 10 capstone course. To complete the ACE requirement, students must generate a creative or scholarly product that requires broad knowledge, appropriate technical proficiency, information collection, synthesis, interpretation, presentation and reflection.

The Eisentrager•Howard Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Special hours, offered in conjunction with the Clay Club and Fine Art Photo Club sales/raffles, are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 13 and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14.
