Engineering shuttle available during summer sessions

The College of Engineering is offering an 11-passenger shuttle between campuses in Lincoln and Omaha during the summer.

From May 29 to Aug. 10, two shuttles will run between Othmer Hall at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Peter Kiewit Institute at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The shuttles will also stop at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Nebraska Engineering will offer an 11-passenger van shuttle service between Lincoln and Omaha during summer sessions.

Shuttle leave times from Othmer Hall and Peter Kiewit Institute are 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Morning shuttles departing from Peter Kiewit Institute will make scheduled stops to pick up passengers at Exit 439 off Interstate 80.

The free shuttle services is available first-come, first-served to the University of Nebraska community. Passengers must present a university identification card to ride.

The summer shuttle will not be branded with university or college logos but will have signs in the windows. The college’s two 40-passenger buses will return to its fall/spring semester schedule on Aug. 20.
